Day 01: Arrive Trivandrum to Kovalam(20 Kms / ½ an hour)
Upon arrival at Airport/Railway Station, our executive welcomes you and explains the tour to you !
Later you will be transferred to Kovalam, Afternoon Trivandrum City tour visiting PadmanabhaSwamy Temple, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Museum, Zoo etc. Late evening visit the famous Kovalam Beach
Day 02: Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam
KovalamKanyakumari (100 kms 3 ½ hrs one side)
Today after breakfast you will proceed for full day excursion to Kanyakumari, India’s `lands end’, the southernmost tip of the mainland. The bodies of water meet here at India’s southern most point the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. You will also visit the Vivekananda Rock. Enroute visit to Sucheendram Temple and Sri Padmanabhapuram Palace. Later return to Kovalam.
Day 03: Kovalam – Kumarakom( 180Kms/5 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom famous for the tranquil backwaters. Arrive Kumarakom andproceed to your hotel / Resort. Evening free at Leisure.
Day 04: KumarakomThe full day will be at leisure for you to unwind and relax in your hotel ashore the BackwatersOr you can take an opportunity to try out the famous Kerala Ayurvedic massage or take a boat ride through the scenicbackwaters of Kerala (On Own)
Day 05: Kumarakom –Thekkady(145 kms/ 4 hours)
After breakfast proceed to Thekkady famous for Spices and Wildlife. Periyar is South India’s mostpopular wild life sanctuary spread across 777 sq. kms in the picturesque rainforests of the western ghats. Todayafternoon you take The Spice Plantation tour. You will be taken around some of the Plantations and explained the wayvarious spices are grown and processed
Day 06: Thekkady– Munnar(110 Kms/ 4Hrs)
Today early morning we visit the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you go on boat ride on a man made lake,to view the wildlife in it’s natural way. If you are lucky on that day, you can have look at some wild animals and beprepared there are unlucky days too. Later after breakfast, drive up the scenic route dotted with spice and coffeeplantations to Munnar, one of the famous Hill Stations. Arrive Munnar and check in to your hotel.Afternoon at leisure and evening visit the near Tea plantations
Day 07: Munnar
After breakfast go for sight seeing of Munnar, visit Mattuppetty Dam, Indo Swiss Project (Cow Farm), Echo Point, Kundala Lake and Eravikulam National Park which is also called as Rajamala. After the sight seeing you can consider going on shopping for high quality tea, coffee etc. or you can also go on walking tour to the surrounding areas and watch the local life as it is.
Day 08: Munnar – Cochin (140 kms/4 Hrs)
Morning drive to Cochin the Queen of God’s Own country. Arrive Cochin and check in to your hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St.Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets etc.. Evening free for Shopping
Day 09: Cochin
This morning we drop you at the airport or railway station. It has been a real pleasure, having served you for these few days. We believe that you carry back your everlasting memories of “The Way to Heaven” and hope you will visit God’s own country again through us.
